The core treatment in our programs immerses residents into real life situations such as recreational, social and life skills activities within the community accompanied by our licensed professional staff. The staff observes residents in relevant situations in a natural uncontrolled environment, and instantly intervenes, as appropriate, in real time. These observations are then incorporated into the resident’s ongoing treatment plan so they can apply learned skills to any situation, anywhere in the future. It is incumbent upon us to prepare residents for life outside of treatment with the highest level of individual functioning possible. We use every opportunity to increase the self-confidence and interpersonal skills of residents as they learn new and different ways to cope with the real world and build solid relationships outside of a facility, campus, or controlled environment.
